REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS/STATEMENTS OF INTEREST

The Board of Directors of the Cass County (MI) Medical Care Facility (CCMCF)  is requesting interested firms to submit qualifications and a letter of interest for Leadership Search and Advisory Services.

Overview: 

The CCMCF is one of 47 County Owned facilities of its kind in Michigan. It includes an 80 Bed SNF and a 2-year-old outpatient Rehabilitation Program. CCMCF has earned its reputation of excellence. The SNF and Rehabilitation facility are situated on 200 acres of trees, rolling lawns with abundant wildlife. The facilities include patios, and pavilion for special events. While in a very rural setting the facility is served by municipal water and wastewater utilities. In 2021, CCMCF engaged a Market Study and High-Level Evaluation completed by a Plante Moran Healthcare Team. That study indicated a strong regional demand for the elements of a continuum of care campus.

Current Administration:

The CCMCF has been administered by a Team of Consultants In Administration, Finance, Billing, and Health Services. The Board is satisfied with the Professional Consultants who manage and support our existing professional team. At this time, we seek to establish a local team led by an Administrator and others as may be necessary to create long term continued excellence as well as the realization of the potential to more broadly serve the county residents with the development of our campus.

Scope of Solicitation:

This solicitation is the first step to identify firms who have the experience and credentials to join the Board to identify professional needs, search and advise forward options.
