Cass County Outpatient Therapy Services broadens regional health care options
Cass County Outpatient Therapy Services, 23770 Hospital St., is now accepting new patients in need of comprehensive physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology services.
Cass County Medical Care Facility is located on a scenic, 200-acre campus with a 182-year history of providing care to the surrounding community. Our new outpatient therapy services will be devoted to delivering rehabilitative and preventative health solutions to the nearby and surrounding public.
Outpatient therapy services are optimal for patients who are looking to improve their daily mobility and quality of life. Therapy focuses on restoring function following injuries, surgeries, and other events to get patients back to their normal activities. Outpatient visits tend to be 45-60 minutes long and incorporate additional exercises to complete at home for additional benefits. Services include physical, occupational and speech therapies.

Physical Therapy (PT)
Our PT services focus on improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, range of motion (ROM), and overall function while taking into consideration any existing pain and/or physical limitations. Common diagnoses for PT include chronic pain, pre- and
post-operative rehabilitation, repetitive stress trauma, sports and job-related injuries and degenerative disc disease.
Occupational Therapy (OT)
Our OT services focus on upper extremity function while utilizing a holistic approach to improve individual’s independence with everyday meaningful tasks. Common diagnoses for OT include arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, stroke, multiple sclerosis, amputations, and pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation for the fingers, hands, wrists and elbows.
Speech Therapy (ST)
Our ST services focus on treating individuals with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders as well as voice and communication difficulties. Common diagnoses for ST include aphasia, dysphasia, dysarthria, etc. These diagnoses may be secondary to stroke, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, as well as other causes.
